Overview
- During Term 3 and 4 2021, the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check online tool will be available to select NSW DoE and non-DoE schools only, via the ALAN suite of online tools.
- (Note: The Year 1 Phonics Screening Check assessment window has been extended to the end of Term 4, 2021 to allow for maximum flexibility for those schools returning midway through Term 4.)
- In order to access ALAN online tools, your school must be activated in ALAN and you must have an ALAN user role granted via AMU/SMU.
How to access the online tool
- Log in to the ALAN homepage.
- In the ALAN homepage, select the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check tile.
- Clicking on the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check tile will open the application.
- Access the School trends statistics page by selecting Student assessment analysis from the Class analysis menu.
