Students will need to be provided with a link to access the Student dashboard.
Staff can copy the link from multiple locations:
- the 'Copy link' button on the success message that appears when assigning an assessment. or from the assessment activity page of an already assigned assessment.
- the 'Copy student link' button on the assessment activity details page
Once the link has been copied, it needs to be pasted into a location that students can access. This could include a Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom space for your class, or it could be a local school intranet page.
This link remains the same for all assessments, so once it is made available for students to access, there are no further links that are required.
If you later assign more assessments, the same link will work for those too.
Technical and device requirements for students
Check that your student devices meet the minimum requirements by opening the Assessment System Diagnostics page on a student device that you plan to use.
