Overview
Data from the comprehensive assessments is now available in PLAN2.
Each question in the comprehensive assessments is mapped to an indicator from the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions. The assessments are designed to assess a broad range of outcomes within a learning stage and this is reflected in mapping to a range of indicators across the progressions.

Observations
Student responses are recorded as observations in PLAN2. There are three observation statuses available to record assessment results.
| Observation status | Use |
|---|---|
 Not demonstrated | Not demonstrated is shown when a student has been presented with one or more questions related to an indicator but did not answer any correctly. |
 Partially demonstrated | Partially demonstrated is shown when a student has been presented with multiple questions related to an indicator and was able to answer at least one correctly, but less than 75% of the questions for that indicator overall. |
 Demonstrated | Demonstrated is shown when a student has been presented with one or more questions related to an indicator and was able to answer 75% or more of them correctly. |
NOTE: When calculating the percentage of correct answers for a particular indicator, all questions available in the comprehensive assessment are included in the calculation, even if the student skipped the question or the attempt was ended before the student viewed the question.

Viewing observations in PLAN2
Observations from the comprehensive assessments can be viewed in PLAN2 using the Browse by assessment option available in Class observations, Class observation analysis and Cohort snapshot.
In the selection panel (left side of the PLAN2 screen), follow these steps:
- Select Browse by Assessment
- Select a Year level and Class or group
- Select Student/s
- Select one of the comprehensive assessments from the list
- Check the Observation source field is 'Last recorded observation (teacher or assessment)' or matches the comprehensive assessment you selected in step 4.
- Select the Generate button.
