  • Online assessments contains a range of assessments that can be assigned to students
  • Assessments can be viewed by collection, stage, content area, syllabus, progression indicator or tags

Home

Online assessments opens to the homepage. The homepage allows you to view a summary of your assigned assessments as well as navigate to find new assessments.

  • The menu on the left side can be used to navigate around the app, view related resources, or find support
  • The blue box at the top of the page displays a summary of assessments that have been assigned by you


Scroll down the homepage to see featured assessment collections and links to help you find new assessments based on a specific learning area, general capability, or stage.



Find new assessments

  • Select Find new assessments from the home page to view all available assessments.


The Find new assessments page displays links to learning areas, general capabilities, stages, assessment collections and tags.

  • Select one of the links to see all assessments in that area. 
  • Select the magnifying glass when the search bar is empty to view all available assessments at once.


Viewing results

  • Results can be shown in list view or grid view
  • Use the buttons on the right to change between view modes.



  • Scroll down the page to view all sets that match your search.
  • A Back to Top button appears in the lower right corner of the page as you scroll down. Select this button to quickly return to the top of the page.

  • Each set is displayed with a title, short description, number of questions, targeted stage, and learning area that the assessment covers. Paired assessments have separate buttons for the Pre-test and the Post-test.  


  1. Type your keywords into the search bar 
  2. Select the magnifying glass icon. 
  3. All assessments that contain the keyword in their title will be shown.


Filtering assessments

The list of assessments can be filtered by collection, stage, content area, syllabus, progression indicator or tags.

  • Select one or more filters from the buttons under the search bar to automatically filter the list.


  • To remove a filter, click on the X icon in the active filters list.
  • To remove all active filters, click on Clear all.


If your chosen filters return no matches (e.g. if you have chosen a content area and completely different syllabus outcome) you will receive the following message. Please 'Clear all' filters and try an alternative search term or choice of filters.



Bookmarking a set

  • Each set can be bookmarked from the Find new assessments page by clicking on the bookmark icon next to the title of the set.


  • To view bookmarked sets, select the Bookmarks button in the left menu.


  • Bookmarks can be searched and filtered just like the Find new assessments page.
