NOTE: For best experience, please use desktop/laptop and Google Chrome web browser when accessing and using the Phonics diagnostic online tool. Some tablet devices, e.g. iPad, do not have the appropriate apps to download and read PDF, Excel or zip files.
Download the Student assessment analysis (for teachers)
- Once a student's assessment has been lodged, the download button for the Student assessment analysis will be enabled under Assessment analysis.
- From the student list, click 'For teachers' button to download the Student assessment analysis for a specific student for the selected the word list.
3. The Student assessment analysis PDF file will download to your computer. The Student assessment anaylsis will contain information about the most recent assessment lodged for the selected word list. The PDF file contains information on:- Observation summary: includes the list of words that were correct or incorrect
- Observation diagnosis: skills and learning progression indicators that were demonstrated or not demonstrated by the student based on their assessment responses
- Additional information about phonics
- Resources for teachers for supporting their students
Download the Class summary analysis
- Open the Phonics diagnostic online tool.
- View student information by selecting the Year level, Class or group and Word list you want to analyse.
- Select the Class analysis button then select Class summary analysis from the dropdown menu.
- The Class summary analysis (Excel file) will be downloaded to your computer. The file includes the summary of responses for all students with lodged assessments in the selected word list.
