Overview


Teachers may set a particular observation source as their defaults observation source. This means that, irrespective of the indicators which are selected, the observations which will be shown alongside those indicators will always be from the source which has been set as the default.

Set your preferred observation sources (E.g teacher observation or DoE mapped assessment observation) as a default selection when using Class observations, Cohort snapshot analysis and Class observations analysis.


Set my default selection for observations sources 

 

  1. Navigate to: 
    • Class observations 
    • Cohort snapshot analysis 
    • Class observations analysis

  2. Select the View observations recorded by: selector from the selection panel


  3. Select your observation source from the options

     
  4. Select ‘Set as my default’

     

  5. Your observation source/s selection has now been set as your default and will display ‘(Default)’ when selected

     

Before generating Class observations, Cohort snapshot analysis and Class observations analysis your observation source default will be preselected within the side selection panel.


Load my default selection for observations sources 

If you have previously saved your observation source/s default and changed your selection within the filter you can reload your default selection.

  1. Select 'Load my default' within the observation source filter



  2. Your default observation source/s selections will now be selected and display ‘(My default)’
